Spotlight on a 50's Makeup (my New Normal :)

Inspirations:Lately, i've been obsessed by the 50's  Makeup. This glamourous look has been my daily makeup with less drama of course...:)

Face:

To get a perfect finish Sephora Perfecting Cover Concealer in Hazelnut.
Loose Powder is the #1 makeup product to achieve a 50's look Perfect Tone Loose Powder in Light Tone by Black Radiance. The Goal is to turn the face into a smooth  7 clean canvas.
Had a little bit of shimmer using L'Oreal Paris Glam Bronze in Cannes after Dark.

Groom your eyebrows by brushing them back with a disposable mascara wand. Define brows by mixing  2 shades of brow pencils  # 649 & #652 by Wet & Wild Color Icon .
The eyebrows of the 1950's were mostly thicker in the inner corner and then tapered out to a clean point. But they varied in styles; the inner corner could be rounded or squared. The ascent could be a straight line or pointed to a peak. A gradual rounded eyebrow was very popular, as was straight! It was customary to take what you had, tweeze it to a clean line and then use a pencil to darken in and possibly thicken.
Eyes:
Apply eye makeup primer to hold eyeshadow in place.
Select a soft, shimmery eyeshadow shade that does not distract from the rest of the face. Soft champagne, sheer silver, translucent pearlized white and sparkly taupe are all good choices.
Eyeliner by Bobbi Brown. Mascara by Almay.
Lips:

Line lips with a waxy liner in a color with red tones. Line your top lip with the Cupid's bow exaggerated, so your top lip appears slightly larger than your bottom one. Fill lips in with the lip liner before layering matching lipstick over it. Use a brush for the lipstick, so the color is applied thoroughly.

Revlon Lipstick 090 True Red
Black Radiance Lipstick Burgandy Royale 5042A
Bordeaux Nights lipgloss

Enjoy by creating your own version of a 50's look...
